Foundations of Islam Certificate
Spring 2013 Semester Beginning SOON!!!
This certification provides an essential level of foundational knowledge for every serious student of Islam who is interested or already involved in presenting Islam to others, offering Friday khutbahs, teaching in weekend schools of Islamic centers, doing da’wa work and leading all other Islamic activities. Further this is a crucial step step towards further Islamic studies.

Structure:
- 13 classes over the course of 3 trimesters
- Each class will require passing of exam for credit
- Each trimester will be 12 weeks in length
- Each class will be 1 day per week
- Certificate will be awarded upon the passing of required classes

8:30 pm – 9:45 pm: Tajweed & Quran Recitation with Qari Osamah Saleh
Wednesday
7:00 pm – 8:15 pm: The Student’s Handbook – Al-Ghazali’s Dear Beloved Son with Imam Magid
8:30 pm – 9:45 pm: Tawheed and the Concept of God with Dr. Daoud Nassimi
Saturday
8:00 am – 10:00 am: Tajweed & Quran Memorization with Mohamed Osama
